NALLAPAADAM- MANORAMA

Introduction about MES Central School, Tirur, Malappuraml
MES Central School, Tirur was the first MES School started in Malappuram district in 1990 under the auspices of MES Tirur Taluk Committee with an objective of imparting education, right from Pre-primary to Senior Secondary level in English Medium as per the syllabus prescribed by Central Board of Secondary Education. About two decades back, the CBSE School, a National Stream of school education, was merely a dream to villagers of Malappuram district which was one of the reasons of the educational backwardness of the district. To tie over the situation, MES Tirur Taluk boldly took a historic decision of starting as many feeder schools following CBSE curriculum in Tirur Taluk, under the academic support, guidance and supervision of MES Central School Tirur. To take care of these schools, School Education Board at Tirur Taluk level was formed in 1991. The Development and achievements of the School during the short period of 21 years still remains as a miracle in the history of the school. The School got its middle School affiliation in 1994, Secondary School affiliation in 1995 and Senior Secondary affiliation in 1998. Our first batch of AISSE came out in 1998 and AISSCE in 2000.The institution has been following the Kinder Garten system over the years at the pre-school level, which is totally changed over to pure Montessori system from 2007. We have always been at the forefront when it comes to innovative educational philosophy and teaching practices. We are proud to announce that the School has got ISO 9001-2008 certification under the well known certified agency, IRQS systems with its head quarters in USA. Also the National Commission for Minority Education Institutions has granted our school the Minority Status.
